Breckland School

Student Life

At Breckland School we expect a lot from all of our students. We are a small school and are fortunate to be able to get to know each student individually and support them academically and pastorally.

Many of our students first experience life at Breckland School during the transition days for year 6 children. During this period students learn about our behaviour expectations and these are reinforced throughout the school day with our rules and non-negotiables.

Each student is assigned a mentor when they arrive at Breckland School and join one of our Houses – Bevan, Curie, Parks, Seacole or Turing.

School life can have “ups” and “downs” and students can talk to their mentors, teachers or staff in the Student Support Centre. We are always here to support our students and will find time to discuss any difficulties a student may be having.
