Breckland School

Co-Curricular & Extra-Curricular

In September 2026 we introduced Co-Curricular sessions which run fortnightly within the school day.

Students work in mixed-age House groups and take part in a wide range of practical activities, including sport, creative arts, innovation, STEM, debates, escape-room challenges, food and nutrition, woodwork, music and problem-solving.

These activities complement the curriculum, but the emphasis is on students getting up, getting involved and experiencing the joy of doing something practical. They earn points for their Houses, build relationships across year groups and explore interests that could influence their future education and career choices.
